MEET our Granny
Hello! I’m Granny B. Welcome to my site. I am a granny to 2 grand babies and sometimes foster grand babies. I learned to sew in middle school home economics. I really enjoyed it, but didn’t really love it until a few years ago. I was able to semi retire and started quilting. I wanted a tote bag, so I made one. I showed my daughter, Brittany, who suggested I make them to sell. She even gave me the business name, Granny B Bags.
I posted pictures of my tote bags on Facebook to friends and family. I was contacted often for the ones I posted and for special orders. Brittany and I have started selling our items at craft fairs. It’s wonderful to hang out with my daughter. She is a talented croquet artist. I am a very proud mama.
I am a born again Christian. I have had my sins forgiven by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross to make a way to Father God. The verse I’ve chosen for my business theme, Proverbs 16:24, “Pleasant words are like honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones” reminds me of the old granny saying, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.” I want to always temper my words with kindness and love the Lord my God with all my heart.
